EPK (Enhanced Pre-K)
Angels in the Gardens is proud to introduce our EPK (Enhanced Pre-K) program. Beginning September 2019, this 4 year old program introduces our children to the arts and a higher learning. With a small class size of no more than 8 children, our pre-k program creates an optimal learning environment.

In addition to the curriculum required by New York State, EPK incorporates piano/music lessons, art class, second language, yoga & dance class.
Foreign Language
Exposure to a foreign language fosters better critical thinking skills and creativity among preschool aged children. It also allows better flexibility of mind and enhanced memory.
Yoga
Yoga helps develop body awareness and teaches children how to use their bodies in a healthy way. It also manages stress through breathing, awareness, meditation and healthy movement and helps build concentration.
Music
Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness: intellectual, social and emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together. Exposing children to music during early development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words.
Art
Art classes help develop children’s motor skills. Also art build children’s self-esteem by giving them the autonomy to express themselves or, as a group activity,
children working together.
